Abstracts by the participants living outside Japan must be submitted by e-mail. Applicants will be notified of abstract(s) acceptance within one week after the submission, and will be notified of the type of presentation by the mid-September, 2008 by e-mail. Please note that final assignment of oral or poster presentation will be at the discretion of the Program Committee.
- Important Notice:
One presentation is requested to pay 10,000JPY for the publication of “Peptide Science 2007”, the proceedings. Please pay this amount at the registration desk in the symposium when you submit the manuscript for the proceedings.

- PAGE SIZE:
Please set the page size to A4, NOT Letter or Custom.
- FORMAT AND SIZE:
Set margins to 2.5 cm for the top, the left, the right, and 3.0cm for the bottom. The font to be used throughout is 12 point Times New Roman (Windows OS) or Times (Macintosh OS). Set the space between lines exactly 18 point.
- TITLE:
Before the title, leave 2.5 cm in addition to the margin above. The title should be typed in bold, upper case and should be left aligned, not justified. Include a carriage return at the end of the title and a blank line exactly 18 point after the title. Do not include a full stop at the end of the title. Do NOT use abbreviations or acronyms in the abstract title.
- AUTHOR'S NAMES:
Before the author’s names, leave 2.5 cm in addition to the margin above. The author's names should be typed in lower case and should be left aligned, not justified. Type author's full names with an underline under the presenting author's full name. Include a carriage return after the last author and add a blank line at exactly 18 point after the names. Do not include a full stop after the last name.
- AFFILIATIONS:
The affiliations should be left aligned, not justified. Use superscript numbers to link authors to institutions if there is more than one affiliation. Do NOT use abbreviations or acronyms in the affiliations. Include only the affiliation, city, state, postal code and country. Do not include the street address. A single blank line at exactly 18 point should follow the affiliations. Do not include a full stop after the last affiliation.
- ABSTRACT TEXT:
The abstract text should be fully justified. Leave 1.25cm of indentation for the first sentence of each paragraph.
- ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:
Abstracts from participants living outside Japan should be submitted as Microsoft Word for Windows documents with a ".doc" extension or as an Adobe Acrobat File with a “.pdf” extension. If this is not possible, save as a Rich Text File (.rtf). Please name the file by the presenter’s surname_initials. (eg. smith_dj.doc)
